When in flower it was soaked in water to make a sweet tea. The wood of the banksia tree was used to make small hand tools and after flowering the dried cone and its fibres were used to strain water. When in flower it was soaked in water to make a sweet tea. The wood of the banksia tree was used to make small hand tools and after flowering the dried cone and its fibres were used to strain water. Each stage of the banksias’ life has another purpose as does our own. Sometimes we can get lost along the way \u0026amp; we need to find our purpose again but it’s always there whether it’s simply to be a child, a parent, a family, or a friend. To the left the u shapes show people sitting along the rivers. When in flower Wiradjuri people soaked Banksias in water to make sweet tea. The wood of the banksia tree was used to make small hand tools and the dried cone and its fibres were used to strain water. The earthy pink section shows three campsites- these represent the generations of my family that lived on Wiradjuri Country.
