As time passes II (limited edition /60)
A recreation of my previous work.
This painting represents purpose in life. We all have purpose in every stage of our lives. It changes as time passes but we are all here for a reason. Wiradjuri people used the banksia for many reasons. When in flower it was soaked in water to make a sweet tea. The wood of the banksia tree was used to make small hand tools and after flowering the dried cone and its fibres were used to strain water. Each stage of the banksias’ life has another purpose as does our own. Sometimes we can get lost along the way & we need to find our purpose again but it’s always there whether it’s simply to be a child, a parent, a family, or a friend. We are all here and we all have a purpose.
