The centre piece represents the sun- our giver of life, bringing the banksias to flower. The Banksia represents growth & purpose and the memory of those past. I am always inspired by the many ways mob use Country, everything has purpose. 

The banksia cone was used to carry fire between camps. When I think of this I think how important it is for me to carry the spirit of my ancestors- keeping their spirit alive.
